What Is Ontological Coaching?

Ontological Coaching is a discipline rooted in the philosophical proposal of the Ontology of Language, whose main representative is Rafael Echeverría, President of Newfield Consulting.

This emerging ontology proposes that we are in constant becoming, and that we have the capacity to drive our individual and systemic transformation through a reinterpretation of reality. From this perspective, Ontological Coaching is an interaction that follows a methodology developed on a strict ethical platform, seeking to unlock the processes of change the coachee needs in order to live a fuller life—aligned with the meaning they choose to give the different dimensions of their existence.

Another way to see it: it is a particular type of learning conversation, placed at the service of the coachee’s interests, needs, and aspirations.

What Can I Gain From an Ontological Coaching Session?

In a space of trust, the coachee can work on personal or professional issues with which they feel unsatisfied; complex situations in which they do not yet know how to proceed; and the development of competencies that will allow for a fuller life.

They can develop conversational competencies for personal and professional growth, enabling better results across the different domains of their life, and review the difficulties they may be facing in reaching their objectives.

They can strengthen their ability to rebuild deteriorated relationships and hold difficult conversations or conversations that have generated friction in the past, and—through revisiting these situations—create opportunities for improvement that allow them to obtain different results.

They can observe their emotional patterns, their corporality, and the narratives or interpretations that hinder deeper self-understanding, and examine the challenges they may be facing in achieving their personal and professional goals.

Ontological
Consulting

Ontological consulting supports companies, organizations, and individuals to develop their personal and collective power for transformation. This is achieved through the creation of new meaning and the incorporation of generic conversational competencies aimed at achieving extraordinary results.

Key aspects of this model:

  • Focus on results.

  • Build relationships that respect differences.

  • Increase trust.

  • Be impeccable in commitments and foster impeccability around you.

  • Stay open to continuous, agile learning.

Results

Our programs and solutions create new management approaches centered on responsible autonomy, results, and process management. We promote coexistence based on respect, mutual legitimacy, and an ethical-emotional space grounded in trust, commitment, and service.

We strive for organizations with healthier relationships and long-term sustainability.

Organizational Ontological Coaching

Organizational Ontological Coaching produces transformation in people and teams. It is a particular type of interaction, led by a Senior Consultant Coach, that brings forth new meanings, new courses of action, and new possibilities for addressing problems that until now seemed impossible to resolve.

Testimonials

Nicole Siegmund Gebert

Psychologist and Ontological Coach

Inspiring and transformative. The program accompanied me on a journey to discover my opportunities for transformation, leading to a lightness that inspires me to begin new journeys, where I feel empowered to choose my destination.

Claudio Orellana

Dean of the Faculty of Psychology

This program's design and concept have allowed me to learn and reinvent myself immensely. I feel that what I've learned is fundamental to the path I'm embarking on, both professionally and personally. I've rediscovered my path in life. I've worked hard to reach a place that, now that I feel it's always been here.

María Paz Rojas B.

Consultant

For me, it has been wonderful, incredibly powerful. An excellent program, both in its content, methodology, and structure. Little by little, clarity opened up, new reflections emerged, and it gradually became a part of my life. Becoming a coach represents a perspective that opens doors and allows me to serve in a way I didn't know existed.
